Schoeps RC Violin Microphone Kit

The Schoeps MK4 is part of the Colette series of modular capsules designed for use with the CMC preamplifiers. The cardioid polar pattern results in maximum rejection of rear incidental audio signal, eliminating off-axis noise and feedback. The cardioid pattern allows microphone placement to occur farther from the sound source than a pressure transducer of equivalent sensitivity. The MK4 is ideal for both speech and music capturing, resulting in rich detail without coloration. The MK4 is also a viable solution for X/Y or Mid-Side stereo recording.

The Schoeps RC700 is an active tube mount designed for the Colette series microphone capsules. The capsule angle, relative to the tube, may be positioned between 0 and 120 degrees. The included RG8 swivel joint mounts the tube to a vertical microphone stand and base (not included), enabling easy height and angle adjustment.

CMC capsules simply screw onto the top of the tube and active electronics provide a pristine signal path throughout the tube and out the XLR connector at the base. The entire mount provides length and flexible positioning for a variety of applications.

The matte gray Schoeps CMC 1 L is a miniature Colette Series microphone amplifier offering uncompromising high fidelity in a lightweight and ultracompact form factor for studio recording, broadcast, and live stage applications. Presented as an alternative to the renowned Schoeps CMC 6 amplifier, the CMC 1 L is compatible with all existing MK mic capsules and Colette active accessories (all available separately).

It features a balanced mini LEMO output, compliance with 12V or 48V phantom power, and low current consumption. Its Schoeps RFI Shield provides high immunity from RF interference for a clean, low-noise signal. The CMC 1 L supports the high maximum SPLs tolerated by the various MK mic capsules (available separately). A stand adapter and a 16.4′ mini LEMO to XLR 3-pin male adapter cable are supplied with the CMC 1 L.

The Schoeps STR1000G Vertical Support Rod is a microphone mount extension rod that may be used with the BF 250 floor stand, or attached to additional support rods for added length and mounting flexibility. The rod features 3/8″-27 threads on each end and measures 3.28-feet (1000mm) in length.

The Schoeps BF250 Heavy Floor Stand firmly holds an STR vertical support rod for microphones. The special chuck, SPV 12-3/8, creates a quick connect and disconnect system which lets you plug into the chuck and tighten it by hand.
